Imagine enjoying the effects of cannabis without the irritations of smoking or the too-slow build-up usually experienced with cannabis edibles. That’s the sweet spot you’ll hit with drinkable cannabis from Sweet Dreams Vineyards.
We use cutting-edge nanoemulsion technology to deliver a fast-acting and consistent experience without the negative effects of smoking or ingesting. And the best part: Not only is it non-alcoholic (so there’s no hangover), but it has half the calories of an alcohol based wine.
What Customers Are Saying...
100 TIMES SAFER THAN ALCOHOL
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that cannabis is better for you than alcohol. This Newsweek headline says it best “Cannabis More Than 100 Times Safer Than Alcohol, Study Finds” The report, published in Scientific Reports, found that … the mortality risk to individuals posed by cannabis was approximately 114 times less than that of alcohol. In fact, cannabis was the only substance to be classified as ‘low risk’. In contrast, alcohol posed the highest risk to individuals and was ranked alongside nicotine, cocaine and heroin as ‘high risk’.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported that alcohol is responsible for about 95,000 deaths a year, as well as shortening the lives of those who died by an average of 29 years. Further, excessive drinking was responsible for 1 in 10 deaths among adults 20-64 years of age. The obvious conclusion here is that switching from an alcohol-based product to a cannabis- based product has to be healthier for you. But what is the healthiest method for experiencing cannabis?

IS DRINKING CANNABIS HEALTHIER THAN SMOKING?
Ok, the research seems to indicate that cannabis itself has a low health risk, but what about smoking cannabis? Unfortunately, cannabis smokers aren’t free from health risks. That’s because cannabis smoke is filled with many of the same chemicals as tobacco smoke, including ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, and formaldehyde. A study published in the National Library of Medicine entitled “Cannabis Smoking And Lung Cancer” states that marijuana smoke contains some carcinogens at higher concentrations than tobacco and doubles the users risk of developing lung cancer.
THEN WHY IS SMOKING SO MUCH MORE POPULAR THAN INGESTING CANNABIS?
The obvious alternative to smoking cannabis is ingesting cannabis. This method of administration doesn’t seem to pose any of the health risks associated with smoking cannabis.
Then, why do edible cannabis products account for far less in sales than smoking-related cannabis products?
First, after you initially consume cannabis, it can take up to several hours before you start to feel the effects. Besides the obvious problem of “who wants to wait several hours,” the unintended consequence of this can be that the consumer is fooled into ingesting “too much” and then has a horrible experience. For example, after the first hour of not feeling any effects, you feel the product is not working, so you consume more. After two hours you still are not feeling much of anything, so you consume even more. Finally, after 3 or 4 hours, the edibles take effect and “your feet don’t touch the floor” because you have essentially consumed way too much!
Secondly, assuming you haven’t consumed too much, cannabis can take up to 6 hours to get out of your system. And if you have consumed too much, it can take an entire day to get out of your system. These two problems contribute to why edibles only account for such a small percentage of cannabis sales. And anyone who has had this horrible experience will never want to try ingesting cannabis again!

But there is a solution!
TECHNOLOGY MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
The drug companies solved this problem a long time ago using a process called nanoemulsification. However, it’s not popular in the cannabis industry, it’s highly scientific, and it’s expensive. Here at Sweet Dreams Vineyards, we recognized that to be successful, we had to deliver a more desirable ingestible experience.
As a result, we have developed a process that allows the THC to be fast-acting and last only a few hours.
In other words, we have learned how to apply this nano-emulsification technology to THC in such a way that the cannabis takes effect in a time frame similar to that of traditional alcohol-based wines. Without going into too much technical jargon, we’re essentially shrinking the size of the THC droplets and making them water-soluble so that they can be immediately absorbed by the small intestine.
The reason most THC oil (in competing edible products) takes so long to have an impact, is that once consumed, the large THC oil droplets have to be converted into mixed micelles through the lipid digestion process. Essentially, your body has to internally make the chemicals necessary to make the THC oil droplets water-soluble. Unfortunately, this is a very long and slow process and you can’t absorb the THC until your body has completed this process. The result is a painfully long wait time.
The beauty of our technology is that the THC is ready for immediate absorption as soon as you consume it. Hence, it takes effect in a time frame similar to that of alcohol (which also does not have to go through the lipid digestion process). As an added benefit, our nano-technology is much more effective than your body at making the THC droplets water-soluble. The latest research (1) indicates that the bioavailability of nano-emulsified THC oil is more than 400% greater than that of regular THC oil. In other words, you’re getting more than 4 times the amount of THC into your bloodstream with nano-emulsified THC because your body isn’t very good at making THC water-soluble. You’ll also be pleased to learn that our nano-emulsion process is a mechanical sonic vibration process. The importance of this is that it is an all-natural process, we’re not adding any chemicals into your body; we’re simply using a highly calibrated machine to shrink the size of the THC droplets.
Cannabernet Ingredients
Cannabernet is not only a healthier alternative to alcohol-based wine and cannabis vaping, but it’s main ingredients promote a myriad of health benefits. Pomegranate and Blueberry juice have long been considered superfoods. For example, pomegranate juice has been found to have three times the antioxidant activity of either red wine or green tea. These myriad of benefits are clearly laid-out in two articles from Healthline.com: 12 Health Benefits of Pomegranate and Proven Health Benefits of Blueberries. These articles not only discuss each individual benefit but also provide links to the supporting research.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Although the cannabis experience can vary widely by each individual user, we have designed our non-alcoholic “wine” to act in a timeframe similar to that of alcohol. To assist us in this goal, we conducted a user study group to see how our product compares to alcohol. The results are shown in the graph below.
- If you look at the orange line you’ll see that a typical THC edible product can take around 90 to 120 minutes for the effects to be felt and can last up to 360 minutes (6 hours).
- On the other hand, if you look at the chart below, the green line represents the time for the Sweet Dreams Vineyards product (derived from nanoemulsification) to work. You’ll see that you should start to feel the effects in 15 minutes and you should be out of it in 3 to 4 hours.
- Finally, if you look at the blue line, you will see the effects of Sweet Dreams Vineyards products is similar to that of consuming alcohol ( minus the calories and hangover, of course).
HOW WILL IT MAKE ME FEEL?
HOW WILL IT MAKE ME FEEL?
You should experience a strong feeling of relaxation accompanied by stress and anxiety relief. However, the effects will vary by user. Having said that, the operative principle is to go slow until you have some experience with how your body will react. If you’re an experienced cannabis user, you can stop reading now and go for it! (you probably already have a good idea of your tolerance level). If you’re a beginner or occasional user, have a glass and wait a while to see how you feel. Once you have a sense of your tolerance, you’ll be set to know how to use this product. We’ve provided this chart below to give you some relative guide on where to start.
